but i was too lazy to post about it previously..
so here goes..

12th August 2009
i turned 20 (not 21 okay ppl!!!) on that very day *happy two decades (according to kayafei) to myself =D*
had lunch with evil one & kayafei on the day itself before heading to class
apparently class was really at 3 and not 1 just as the timetable said so.. *yours truly was mislead by some ppl and went in class late 2 freaking hours..ppl were staring at me including my lecturer and i still didnt know why at that very moment..it was so freaking embarrassing!!!*
oh wells..back to lunch..they treated me to sushi king..=) *i had my fav food on my bday..SUSHI =)*
evil kayafei still owes me the pics from that day..so no pics =(

Results..

It the time of the year again
Two times in a year all ACCA students will be all nervous, anxious, tensed and fidgety
Most will be camping in front of the computer refreshing continuously
Each second of waiting for the page to refresh feels like ages..
Time was suddenly passing so very slowly..minutes feels like hours..
The site will be unbearably slow because of the traffic trying to access the same website
Because its the day where results are released
It is the judgement day for all ACCA students after 5 and 1/2 months of hard work
-
I've come to realise that..
ACCA results can be really surprising..You will never know what to expect
There may be unpredictable failures as well as unexpected passes..
All in all this is one day feared by most ACCA students..
Good news and celebration for some,
While some will face disappointment and be left to pick up the broken pieces..to face the facts and stand up to fight once again
-
After the previous two semesters of disappointment
I seriously do not know what to expect of my results anymore
I've failed audit twice and business analysis once before this
Topped with two new papers; professional accountant and advanced taxation
FOUR papers..I really don't know what was I thinking to take four papers at one go..I'm think I was really outta my mind..
-
FINALLY around 12.40p.m.
I got my answers
F8 : Audit and Assurance - 67 (Pass)
P1 : Professional Accountant - 45 (Fail)
P3 : Business Analysis - 43 (Fail)
P6 : Advanced Taxation - 54 (Pass)
Although I only expected to fail P1, i was actually very calm and acceptive of my results
I've finally passed my audit after trying 3 times..
But i failed P3 once again..i was quite disappointed with this actually since I was the only resit student to fail this particular paper once again..but the disappointment was overshadowed by my relief of finally passing audit..
I've finally cleared all my part 2 papers and will therefore be able to carry on with my OBU..
My surprisingly high marks for audit has managed to bring up my average for part 2 to 65.5, which if it is rounded up to 66..I might still stand a chance to obtain a first class for my OBU provided i manage to obtain an A for my thesis..
I'm very happy that i managed to scrape a pass for my tax as i wouldn't want to go thru the studying of the bulk of P6 notes again..

I feel sad for my friends who shared the same fate with me of failing some of their papers..
Some were supposed to have graduated but were held back due to yesterday's unpredictable results..
I know you guys will make it thru this time around and hopefully I will too..
I really hope that we will all be able to graduate together..
Its time to stand up and fight again and then to say goodbye to ACCA forever..

Hmmm..it was like just yesterday that we were in CAT and i've just known u..but its been 3 or 4 years already..*seriously think that time is passing really fast nowadays*

just couldn't bring myself to step outta my hse yesterday...*don't wanna spoil the mood with my sulking*

Shopping with mum

ITS MEGA SALES SEASION ONCE AGAIN!!!
*actually i noticed that the sales hardly stopped this year..it has been on-going for some time now..*

i went shopping with mummy dearest on two separate occassions last week

had a facial appointment at 12.30 so mummy dearest & i went to midvalley & gardens a little earlier to do some shopping
bought 2 new t-shirts in zara..*i like zara t's coz they're looong =)*

the shirt's a lil big coz i didn't check the size properly
my mum suggested that it was probably free size
*no matter..i still like the shirt..*

that's about all i bought for the day
walked around gardens a bit..mum bought some clothes in gap but i didn't take pics of them..
then it was time for facial..*sighs*

ate in italianies ~ apparently it was my birthday lunch from my bro..=)
didn't manage to shop after lunch coz i had to rush home..*sighs*

went to midvalley/gardens once again on friday to shop =)
isetan was having a sale and we needed to get some cosmetics..
i went there by myself first since mum was supposed to meet me only around lunch time for lunch
bought 2 more tee's in zara..



this was attached to the shirt
i was wondering what purpose did it serve
so, out of curiousity i asked the cashier what was it for
apparently i can fold my tee and keep the tee inside it
its a bag for my shirt..*hahas..*
wanted to get the blue coloured one actually but there isn't one of my size *sighs..how sad*

after walking around for a bit, i got bored and went to borders to hang out while waiting for mum
was tempted to get the twilight series *but since currently i'm quite broke, i'll just have to postpone that thought..=(*
mum arrived around 2 & we had lunch at one of the shops in the crossover between midvalley & gardens
browsed through some stuff in isetan and got wat we wanted

dropped by esprit after that since they sent a message about some final sales going on..
for purchase of 2 sales item, additional 10%
for purchase of 3 sales item, additional 15%
in addition, the 10% member's discount was still valid..


the jacket was sooooo cheap..=)
it was also the last piece and coincidently it was in my size *it was meant to be mine =D*
orginal price was RM159.90
discounted price was RM79.90
after the additional discounts, it was only RM61.13..

couldn't resist buying another pair of jeans althou i already have quite a number of pairs of jeans..*hehe..i just love buying jeans..=D*
moreover, the jeans was darn cheap
there were only like 3 pairs left..luckily they had my size..=)*it was meant to be mine once again..lols*
original price was RM329.90
discounted price was RM119.90
after the additional discounts, it was only RM91.73..

dropped by a desert shop named jonker's street *at least i think that's what the name of the shop was..i didn't really paid attention to the name of the shop..*
"tong shui" there was absolutely fantastic..=D *two thumbs up*

headed home after that since it was quite late in the evening
got stuck in the traffic jam in federal highway for like about an hour before reaching home
*hmmmm...maybe we should have just stayed for dinner before going home..*

Korean BBQ

i went for a korean bbq lunch with the gals a few weeks back *haven't seen the gals except kamen since prom..melissa & meng hui also just got back from a 9 day holiday/shopping trip in hong kong*
according to mel's facebook album we went on the 29th July which was last weds..*i know its quite a loong time ago and after soooo long only i'm blogging about it..*
can't remember the name of the shop thou but i think it was located in hartamas..hehe..
the lunch was a celebration of km,mh,mk&mels passing obu..*the results were released around 12a.m. or earlier..*
~CONGRATS for passing OBU!!!~*credits all to km,mk&mel themselves since they did the whole thesis practically by themselves with very very very little help and guidance their mentor,andrew pang who was quite useless and unreliable*

i didn't blog about this earlier becoz i was just waaaay tooo lazy to grab the pics from facebook until now since i haven't met mel to get the original copies of the pics..*yeah..i knew that it would have taken me less than 10mins to grab the pics from facebook but i was just feeling tooo darn lazy..hehe..the lazy bug must have bit me real bad..=D*

the waiter or was it waitress (couldn't really remember now) joined two tables to fit all 6 of us

it ended up with me and kamen having one of the tables all to ourselves
coincidently the side dishes was served to us this way..

food on the other table where meikee, yie-lyn, melissa & menghui sat..
*i think it was supposed to be for only three person but poor yie-lyn & melissa who sat in the middle couldn't reach the side dishes placed over on my table..*


to make the situation worse..the food was served this way on my side of the table..
it was even harder for them to reach the food..*although i have to say it looks real nice served this way..=D*
*all the food for me & kamen alone...mwahahaha*
ended up they had a hard time and needed to stretch their hands to reach the dishes *feels considerably bad but couldn't find another way to arrange the dishes..sorry..=(*

right before we made a move from the restaurant, yie-lyn went to the toilet..
so we continued to camwhore while waiting for her..
then, km proposed to continue posing as if we're taking pic when we were actually done camwhoring and get up to leave when yielyn comes back from the toilet..
this was just to show that we're purposely taking a looot of pics when she's not around..haha
km was being her random self once again..

headed to one utama after lunch to maybe catch a movie as it was still early after me & unsound decided that mr goh's class was toooo boring..*the six hours of him every week are almost unbearable and to make matters worse, the time passes real slow everytime*
apparently some of us was feeeling tooo bored staying at home doing nothing..=_=
we walked around 1u aimlessly, ocassionally visiting some stores for a few hours since the movie times were unsuitable..*sighs*
